I lead my team in my first language. I lose them in English.

Preparing for DELE C1 in Spanish
I'm Mark Gather. I help capable speakers bring more of themselves into English meetings, interviews, presentations and fast conversations.
Most English coaches are language people. A handful are psychology people. I spent two decades becoming both. That is what psychology-informed means here: part language coaching, part confidence, memory and live-speaking work.
The work starts with the live moment: a question you had not prepared, a client waiting, a meeting that turns, and the sentence that comes out smaller than the thought behind it.
Over six weeks, I help you understand why that happens, then build the practical tools and the steadiness to speak with more of yourself in the room when those moments come.
If you want to see how I teach before choosing anything, start with the free How You Learn lessons.

Story-based English
Myths and Legends
Adult graded readers in myth and legend. Told with atmosphere, built around language that stays in the mind.
If you recognise the gap between the English you can prepare and the English that comes out in live conversation, start with the quiet self-check. If it fits, the next step is a short conversation.
Two founding places on the six-week programme are open until the end of July, at a reduced rate in exchange for detailed feedback and a written testimonial. The details are on the programme page.
