Try the rhythm

One day of the pack takes about 10 to 15 minutes

The work is deliberately small. You choose one prompt, speak before you can over-prepare, listen once, repeat once, and notice one piece of evidence that your English is becoming more available.

1

Choose

Pick one workplace prompt.

2

Record

Speak for 60 seconds.

3

Listen

Listen once, without grading yourself.

4

Repeat

Say it again with one small change.

5

Notice

Write one piece of evidence.

By week four you have a folder of your own recordings, and you can hear the change between week one and now.

Look inside

See the course before you buy it

Selected pages from the workbook, so you can see the level, the rhythm and the kind of work you will be doing.

How it works

A four-week route through the moments that move too quickly

Week 1

Get into the conversation

Practise entering conversations, giving simple updates and starting before the sentence is perfect.

Week 2

Stay present in live moments

Use phrases for clarifying, buying time and answering unexpected questions without losing your thread.

Week 3

Sound more like yourself

Practise opinions, soft disagreement and professional nuance without shrinking your meaning.

Week 4

Recover and keep going

Build repair language, repetition and a realistic way to continue after the pack finishes.

I lead my team in my first language. I lose them in English.

Mark Gather speaking, mid-sentence, in a converted barn room

Made by Mark Gather

Built from real teaching

I built this from years of teaching adults who were more capable in English than they felt in the moments that mattered. The work is psychology-informed, but practical: small speaking tasks, useful business phrases, and enough reflection to help you notice evidence that your English is still there.

MSc Psychology. Twenty years teaching English to adults. Currently working through DELE C1 in Spanish.

Ready when you are

Start small. Keep going.

The pack is self-study, so you can use it privately and at your own pace. You do not need to send recordings anywhere. They are there to help you hear your own progress. And if you finish the four weeks and want to go further with the live-speaking side, that is what the six-week programme is for.
